Phoceis, Pricer and Leroy Merlin wins the Best Customer Experience Award at Euroshop 2017

Two years ago, we created for Leroy Merlin (French DIY retailer) a revolutionary system that allows automatic and real-time geolocation of products inside the store.

This project was selected in the New Shopping Experience Challenge held by the PICOM and this feature was made possible by analyzing the signals emitted by the Pricer ESL (Electronic Shelves Label).

This innovative tool was integrated in Leroy Merlin mobile app and instore kiosks to help people locate a product in the store. Other scenarios were created, including for instance instore picking or realtime planogram.

During Euroshop 2017 a few days ago, Phoceis, Pricer, and Leroy Merlin were awarded the Best Customer Experience Price for this innovation.
This geolocation feature will soon be associated to a chatbot solution (aka MAIA) made by Phoceis that will allow customer to receive product location through SMS or Facebook Messenger, after asking the question in natural language.
